CALL OF DUTY

Brand Design. Game Assets. Marketing. World Building.

At Activision, I was tasked with building the entire graphic design layer of Call of Duty's in-game worlds for levels prescribed to High Moon Studios: every piece of text, signage, branding, and visual texture that makes a map feel like a place that existed long before anyone loaded it up.

Getting that right across dozens of global locations meant designing authentically in five languages, with legal and cultural compliance built into every asset. Research led everything: plot points, regional aesthetics, naming conventions, architectural context. Nothing shipped without 30+ iterations — assets ranged from weapon decals and product labels to full wayfinding systems, mosaics, and stained glass, all designed to feel like they predated the game.

Thousands of assets shipped across Modern Warfare III, Warzone, Fortune's Keep, Ashika Island, and beyond. Call of Duty remains the best-selling video game franchise in history. Outside the game worlds, the work extended to the full rebrand of High Moon Studios and regional talent recruitment campaigns built to make people want to work there.
