Logo Design. Research. Iteration. Iteration. Refinement.
Rebranding, or refreshing? The biggest challenge of this opportunity was not asking why, what, or how. High Moon Studios did not want their logo to tell a story. The prompt I was given was to make a logo that was "bad ass". Knowing that the primary use of the logo was for talent recruitment, I researched Southern California imagery stemming from surf and skate culture. I coupled this with diving deep into video game company logos while trying to make a slight contrast against other studios under the Activision umbrella. Iteration, refinement, and many meetings took place. Some of the results have been documented below.
